Connect your Gandi account to manage all your domains in Domain Collective.
Access your Gandi account settings to create a token
Set up basic token information
Token Name
Enter a descriptive name like "Domain Collective Integration"
Expires In
Options range from 7 days to 1 year. Select "1 year" for maximum duration
Token Resources
Select "The whole organization"
Choose minimal permissions for security best practices
Under the "Domains" section, enable ONLY these two permissions:
See and renew domain names
Required for listing and viewing your domains
Manage domain name technical configurations
Required for DNS record and nameserver management
Generate your token and save it immediately
Personal Access Token
This is the only credential you need for Gandi (you'll enter it as "API Token" in Domain Collective)
Use your token to connect your Gandi account
You'll only need one piece of information:
API Token
Your Personal Access Token from Step 4
401 Unauthorized Error
Your token may be expired or revoked. Generate a new token and update your integration.
403 Forbidden Error
Token lacks required permissions. Ensure "See and renew domain names" and "Manage domain name technical configurations" are both enabled.
No DNS Records Showing
Make sure "Manage domain name technical configurations" permission is enabled for the token.
Token Expired
Gandi tokens expire after your selected duration (7 days to 1 year). Generate a new token and use the "Update Credentials" feature in Domain Collective.
