Domain Collective currently supports GoDaddy, Namecheap, Gandi, Porkbun, Name.com, Cloudflare, and Hostinger out of the box. Once connected, all your domains from these registrars sync automatically to your unified dashboard.

How does Domain Collective connect to my registrar accounts?

We use secure API connections with your registrar accounts. You'll need to generate API keys from your registrar's settings (we provide step-by-step guides for each). Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely - we never store your registrar passwords.

Can I manage DNS records through Domain Collective?

Yes! You can view and manage DNS records for all your domains directly from the dashboard. Changes sync with your registrar within moments. We support all standard record types (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.).

Will Domain Collective automatically renew my domains?

Accepted Answer

Domain Collective doesn't handle renewals directly - your domains remain with your existing registrars. However, we provide expiry tracking and automated alerts to remind you before domains expire, so you never miss a renewal deadline across multiple registrars.

What happens if I disconnect a registrar integration?

If you disconnect a registrar, the domains from that registrar will be removed from your Domain Collective dashboard, but nothing changes at the registrar level. Your domains, DNS settings, and all configurations remain untouched. You can reconnect anytime to sync them back.

Is my domain data secure with Domain Collective?

Absolutely. We encrypt all API credentials at rest, never store registrar passwords, and all data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections. We use least-privilege API access and only request the permissions needed for the features you use. Your domain registrations remain with your original registrars.
